The International Institute for Publishing Studies (UIIPS) at the University of Abuja is pleased to invite applications from qualified candidates for admission into its prestigious professional degree program, the Master’s in Publishing Studies (MPS), for the 2023/2024 Academic Session (Stream II). This program is designed to equip professionals with advanced skills and knowledge in the dynamic field of publishing.
The University of Abuja International Institute for Publishing Studies (UIIPS) is established to address the lack of a professional programme in Publishing Studies in Nigeria. The bold initiative is aimed at promoting academic standards, ethical and professional values of publishing studies and professions in Nigeria and globally.
The UofA has the aspiration that a high- quality programme in publishing will contribute substantially to the skills and development of academic institutions, private businesses and professionals, government and law enforcement sectors, as well as those who seek to become publishers around the world.

General Admission Requirements
1. Possession of five (5) O’ Level credit passes in relevant subjects, including English language and Mathematics, at not more than 2 sittings.
ii. A Bachelor Honours Degree in any field from any recognised University.
iii. Higher National Diploma (HND) or Postgraduate Diploma in any field from any recognised institution.
iv. Other professional qualifications as recognised by University of Abuja.
Duration
The admission process runs from November for January intakes and June for August intakes.
