UNICAL new VC promises an all inclusive administration
The Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar, Prof Florence Obi has reiterated that all sectors of the Institution will be given due attention in the course of her administration. The Vice Chancellor said this at a goodwill message she delivered at the Annual Christmas Carol of 9 Lessons held at the Chapel of Redemption, University of Calabar.
Prof Florence Obi who also read the second carol lesson at the event said she will endeavour to carry everybody along in the discharge of her functions and called on the leadership of the Redemption Chapel to work along with her. She said her administration is open to advice and constructive criticism adding that the service of building the university was a common call that should be heeded by all.
The Vice Chancellor said her administration earnestly need the prayers of the Chapel to perform optimally and to succeed following the growing challenges of insecurity in the nation. She specially lauded the children choir for performing marvellously and the main Choir for their exceptional rendition.
In his response, the Acting Chaplain, Rev Steve Ogbonna pledged the readiness of the Redemption Chapel to partner with her administration and to steadily pray for its success.
