Nnamdi Azikiwe University’s Business School (UBS) has launched Post-Graduate and Certificate programmes for effective leadership and management in business, economy, and governance.
Prof. Chinedu Onyeizugbe, the school’s director, revealed this in an interview with the media to celebrate the start of the new admission season, saying the decision was part of the University’s commitment to making education accessible to all.
According to Onyeizugbe, the goal of the programmes is to provide opportunities for Nigerians in both business and career fields to expand their capabilities and obtain certifications based on their acquired knowledge.
He said, “The institution is committed to imparting relevant knowledge that will create new industrialists, astute business persons, entrepreneurs, discerning corporate and institutional leaders, high-level professionals and intentional political office holders that are driven by integrity and the highest ethical standards in their vocations.
“Due to the hybrid nature of the classes, students from overseas countries can conveniently apply for the programs and attend remotely from their locations.”
Onyeizugbe who listed the Post Graduate programmes run by the School revealed that admission requirements into the school were flexible and on a continuous basis, with applicants from either first and second semester.
He however emphasized that all certificate courses would require Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) results.
