World Bank Group 2024 Young Professionals Program (YPP)
For more than 60 years, the Young Professionals Program (YPP) has provided a highly competitive and exceptionally rewarding chance to join the World Bank Group. They seek international Young Professionals (YPs) with diverse backgrounds, exceptional technical skills, leadership potential, and commitment to our mission and values. Working across the World Bank, IFC, and MIGA, our YPs help solve the world’s most pressing development challenges to improve the lives of millions globally.
YPs enter the World Bank Group as Technical Specialists, Economists, and Associate Investment Officers on a five-year contract that can be renewed based on performance. During their first two years, they will have the unique opportunity to expand their knowledge and experience through rotational assignments around the World Bank Group.
Additionally, YPs participate in a systematic learning and skill development path through the YP Academy. Technical and operational training, language programs, negotiating and commercial skills, and leadership development are all essential components. YPs also receive one-on-one coaching, meet with mentors, and have strategy-focused discussions with senior leaders.
