World Bank Supports Edo State Education Sector with 75 million dollars
The World Bank has approved the sum of 75 million dollars to support the Edo state education sector. Governor Godwin Obaseki who revealed this on Thursday, August 27, promised the people that for the next three years, the money will be used to update the face of education in Edo state and Nigeria as a whole.
According to the Governor, the World Bank granted the money on Wednesday, August 26, because the education reforms being carried out in the state have recorded success so far.
He also said that based on the benefits that have been enjoyed in previous times, he is open to signing the Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) at any time.
