NAF College of Nursing Records 100% Success in National Licensing Exam

The Nigerian Air Force College of Nursing Sciences (NAFCONS) has recorded an impressive 100% success rate in the national licensing exam for nurses, underlining the school’s unwavering pursuit of excellence in nursing education.
This achievement was disclosed by the Commandant of NAFCONS, Squadron Leader Boyi Elisha, at the matriculation event for the National Diploma I (Set 6) students, held in Kaduna yesterday.
He explained that this top-tier performance demonstrates the institution’s commitment to training well-qualified and proficient nursing personnel.
According to a statement released by Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, the NAFCONS Commandant expressed gratitude to the Chief of Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, and the regulatory bodies for their consistent backing of the school.
During his speech, Air Marshal Abubakar appealed to the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) to implement NAFCONS’s innovative “Air Mobile First Aid” training as a nationwide benchmark.
The CAS, who delivered his remarks through the Chief of Medical Services, Air Vice Marshal Anthony Ekpe, described the training programme, which is the first of its kind in Nigeria, as one with the capacity to transform emergency healthcare delivery across the nation.
He said, “This initiative is not just a military innovation; it is a national asset. It is time we scale this program beyond NAFCONS, making it a cornerstone in our national nursing curriculum. The future of emergency healthcare in Nigeria depends on it.”
