The Department of Mass Communication at Lagos State University of Science and Technology is set to partner with the Department of Mass Communication at the University of Lagos to explore options for student exchange programs, joint research, and staff development.
Prof Adepoju Tejumaye, the UNILAG’s immediate past Head of Department for Mass Communication, disclosed this during a visit to LASUSTECH to check the LASUSTECH FM radio station and other departmental facilities.
Tejumaye welcomed by the Ag. Head of Department of Mass Communication, LASUSTECH, Dr. Steven Adesemoye, and other senior members of the department, commended the institution for its commitment towards practical training and student development, emphasising the importance of student involvement in radio broadcasting.
He said, “I encourage LASUSTECH to continue to provide opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience through the radio station. This is crucial for their growth as media professionals.”

Adesemoye also expressed his department’s commitment to providing students with the best education and practical experience, saying “Collaborations with esteemed institutions like UNILAG are invaluable in achieving this goal.”
