Phone Snatchers Stab Ambrose Alli University Graduate to Death Two Days After Passing Out of NYSC




On the 25th of July, Alenin Joseph passed out of NYSC in Calabar, the capital  of Cross River State where he served for the passed one year. On Saturday, the 27th of July, he set out on a journey back to his hometown Warri, Delta State. He arrived at Warri late and was accosted by a group of boys who demanded for his phone. Joseph recognised one of the muggers identified simply as Buchi (Mama Onome’s son) so they stabbed him to death.

The suspected muggers were caught on Sunday, July 28 after they tried to rob another victim. Friends and family of the deceased are demanding justice for Joseph who was said to have struggled through university, doing menial jobs to survive and pay his school fees.
