A corps member identified as Amaka Asikaogu has reportedly been found dead in a hotel in Abuja, few days to the end of her service year.
According to reports, the deceased checked in with a male friend on Saturday evening. After ordering for food and drinks, the male friend left the hotel leaving her behind. When the male friend was about to leave, the attendants reportedly asked about the lady he checked in with and he reported that she was fine and back in the room. The attendance reportedly put a call across to the Amaka and she reportedly confirmed she was fine.
However, the staff got worried that Amaka was yet to check out the next day. After much worry, they had to force their way in and found Amaka’s corpse in the room.
Following the reports, the parents reportedly said that they sent Amaka some money for her accommodation within the week after she complained that the person she was squatting with asked her to leave the house.
