The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that it would be lifting the suspension placed on candidates who wish to effect certain corrections on their processes from the years affected till date starting from Monday, 31st August.
Head of Media and Public Relations, Dr Fabian Benjamin revealed that the ban lift which included printing of admission letters, inter-university transfers, illegitimate admissions condonement and other processes covered all the years affected.
According to the Board, this year’s candidates were made to effect corrections through the UTME/DE platforms, limiting the number of candidates visiting centres to the barest minimum. He added that this was in compliance with the COVID-19 safety protocols on overcrowding.
Dr Benjamin said the reduced visit to centres brought about the accommodation of more requests from previous years. He, however, maintained that these new requests will only be attended to online through the Appointment Booking Platform with which candidates can book an appointment with any JAMB office.
He further urged all state offices to comply with the laid down COVID-19 rules while attending to these complaints.
