19-year-old Gbenga Favour Olaoye-Akanbi, a 300-level student of the Department of Agriculture, University of Ilorin, has reportedly committed suicide after losing N300 million to forex trading
Gbenga took the drastic move after he was allegedly duped by a forex trader, Eseka Chuckwutem Gospel (ECG). He was found dead on Sunday, December 20, 2020, after drinking poison.
The deceased was said to have allegedly invested over N300 million belonging to his colleagues and friends in a business run by ECG.
