With reference to your letter dated 9th December, 2020 appealing for Management’s intervention into the crisis that has bedeviled the Students Union Government, I wish to inform you that after thorough consideration of the recommendations of the investigative Committee set up by the Senior Management Committee of the Polytechnic at its emergency meeting held on Wednesday, 9th December, 2020, your impeachment as Students’ Union President and that of the Financial Secretary, Comrade Okebugwu Relechi, stands.
It has become necessary to state here, that the validity of your impeachment from the post of the President, and that of the Financial Secretary, is as a result of the recommendations of the investigative Committee saddled with the onus of ascertaining if the allegations raised by the Students Representatives Council are valid for impeachment amongst other terms of reference, and its (Committee’s) subsequent invitation of stakeholders who testified, including you the impeached President. An over whelming majority of the Student’s Representative Council were in favour of the sustainability of the impeachment.
In the light of the above, be informed that you, Comrade Waka Isreal and Comrade Okebugwu Kelechi remain impeached executives, and are hereby directed to handover all Union’s properties in your custody to the appropriate leadership of the Student’s Union Government, on or before Wednesday, 23rd December, 2020.
