A 200-level student of Rivers state college of health science and management technology, identified as Blessing Jeremiah is in a celebratory mode after surviving an armed robbery attack.
According to reports, Blessing was attacked by armed robbers on January 13, 2021 at about 9pm, while trying to fight off a group of armed men who tried to rape her. The robbers reportedly robbed her of her money, phone and other valuables.
She was found in a pool of her blood after students who heard the gunshot ran to the robbery scene. She was rushed to the school clinic where first aid treatment were administered before the police moved her to another hospital.
