A 25-year-old female student of the Osun State College of Health Technology, Ilesa, Rukayat Bayonle, who was abducted by gunmen on Tuesday, April 20, has been rescued by the police.
This was disclosed by the spokesperson of the Osun State Police Command, SP Yemisi Olawoyin Opalola, in a statement issued today, April 22, saying the student was kidnapped by five gunmen at Olomilagbala Area of Ilesa on Tuesday, April 20.
She was rescued unhurt by a combined team of police Tactical Unit, JTF, and other security outfits.
The Commissioner of Police, therefore, urged members of the public to be vigilant, support, cooperate, and collaborate with the Police in the fight against all forms of criminalities.
