President Bola Tinubu has directed the Federal Ministry of Education to incorporate graduates of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) into the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and Nigeria Law School.
Tinubu spoke at NOUN’s 13th convocation ceremony, emphasising equitable opportunity for NOUN graduates while noting Nigeria’s changing demographics.
He assured that the Law School’s doors are now open to NOUN Law graduates, demonstrating his administration’s dedication to high-quality, accessible education.
Tinubu emphasised the importance of Open and Distance Education in increasing access to higher education and attaining the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030, reiterating the government’s commitment to improving ODL nationwide.
