Gunmen believed to be herders are now on the rampage at Plateau State University in the Bokkos Local Government Area.
Many people are believed to have been killed, as a fleeing student stated over the phone that the attack was still underway.
“It is pandemonium everyone is scampering to safety because rattling gunshots are all over the university,” the student who was fleeing claimed.
DSP Alfred Alabo, the spokesperson for the Plateau State Police Command, refused to confirm the event at the time of reporting this story.
