Mrs. Olanike Olayinka Balogun and Dr. Adefunke Serah Ebijuwa have been appointed registrar and librarian of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) in Ogbomoso, respectively, by the Governing Council.
The Chairman of the University Governing Council, Professor Ayodeji Oludare Omole, revealed this in a statement released by the institution’s Public Relations Officer, Mr Fadeyi Gabriel Olalekan.
According to Prof Omole, the news came after a two-week-long rigorous vetting procedure.
He implied that the new appointees’ five-year tenure will begin on August 14, 2024.
According to him, the new substantive Vice-Chancellor, whose name Council has given to the Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, who is also a visitor to the university, will be made public soon.
He further hinted that a new bursar will also be named in due course.
