As part of its efforts to provide outstanding education in the state, the Lagos State Government has scheduled the Placement Test by Continuous Assessment Scores (CAS) for Primary Six Pupils on Saturday, July 20, 2024.

This was said in a statement issued by Mr Adebayo Orunsolu, Director of the Lagos State Examinations Board, telling the general public, parents, and guardians that the test will take place on Saturday, July 20, 2024, across the State’s six Education Districts.

The Director stated that the Lagos State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB), and the Lagos State Examinations Board have agreed on 20th of July, 2024 as the Final Date for the conduct of the Test for Primary Six Pupils transiting to Government Public Junior Secondary Schools (JSS1) in the State for the Year 2024/2025 Academic Session.

Mr. Orunsolu stated that students have the right to quality education and that giving them that opportunity is the only way to help them achieve their future goals.

He urged the authorities of the State’s public and approved private primary schools to take notice of the date and ensure that parents and guardians of their students are properly informed so that all eligible students can engage in the activity.

The Director informed stakeholders and parents that no child would be left unattended, emphasising that equipment has been put in place to ensure that the exercise runs smoothly, without hitches, and successfully.

Mr. Orunsolu also urged for collaboration from parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to make the exercise a huge success which all stakeholders will be proud of.
