Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah dismissed Dr Gabriel Ajah as Chairman of the Enugu State Universal Basic Education Board (ENSUBEB) effective immediately.
Mr Aka Eze Aka, the State Commissioner for Information and Communication, confirmed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Enugu on Monday.
The commissioner, who did not divulge the reason for the dismissal, stated that there was a little reshuffle on the board.
According to him, Dr Hyginus Bankho, who was previously Member two of the board will take over as chairman.
Dr Amaka Ngene, who was Member 1 of the board, has been appointed Chairman of the Science, Technical, and Vocational Schools Management Board (STVSMB).
