Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL) has donated N5 million each to the two finest graduating students from the Federal University of Petroleum Resources (FUPRE) in 2024. The presentation took place on Wednesday at Tantita’s headquarters in Bendel Estate, Ugborikoko, Uvwie Local Government Area, Delta State. In addition, the Godfrey Pondi Book Club awarded N2 million to the same students.
This act fulfilled a pledge made by Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited’s Executive Director of Operations and Technical, Capt. Warredi Enisuoh, during the 2024 FUPRE and The African Child Award event on July 4, 2024, at the FUPRE University campus in Effurun.
Tantita’s Managing Director, High Chief (Engr) Kestin Ebimobowei Pondi, and the Executive Director of Operations and Technical, Captain Warredi Enisuoh, were named Oil and Gas Ambassadors at the event, which aimed to promote academic excellence and recognise individuals and organisations that have made significant contributions to the development of Nigeria’s petroleum industry.
In accordance with TSSNL’s vision of collaborating with educational institutions and corporate bodies to combat crude oil theft and train and build Nigerian youths into resourceful and self-sufficient individuals, the company pledged to encourage and empower top graduates as part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR).
Speaking at the presentation at Tantita’s headquarters in Bendel Estate, Ugborikoko, Effurun, Dr. Eddy Pondi, Executive Director of Administration, emphasised Tantita’s commitment to promoting education and fostering future leaders in the Nigerian petroleum sector.
Dr. Pondi emphasised that the initiative is part of Tantita’s broader vision to encourage education while also combating poverty and crime through youth empowerment.
