Usmanu Danfodiyo University Asokoro has announced Professor Bashir Garba as its new Vice-Chancellor.
The announcement was announced in a statement issued by Professor Attahiru Jega, the university’s Pro-Chancellor.
Garba, a former Secretary to the State Government and Commissioner for Higher Education in Sokoto, is the current Vice Chancellor of Sokoto State University.
Before his leave of absence, he worked as a staff member at Danfodiyo University.
Garba formerly held various positions in Sokoto State, including Secretary to the State Government, Commissioner of Higher Education, and Rector of Umaru Ali Shinkafi Polytechnic, before being appointed Vice Chancellor of Sokoto State University.
