Two Students of CUSTECH Expelled over Exam Misconduct




Two students have received expulsion letters from the Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, as a result of their involvement in examination misconduct during the First Semester Examinations of the 2022–2023 academic year.

The affected students are Ogunmadu O. John with matriculation number 22L1BL0273 of the Department of Biological Sciences and Edibo Favour with matriculation number 21L1SE0021 of the Department of Computer Science, according to a statement released on Tuesday by Balogun David, Head, Public Relations Unit, CUSTECH, Osara.

The 14th Regular Meeting of the Senate, which was held on Thursday, October 12, 2023, is where it was decided to dismiss the two students from CUSTECH for cheating on their exams, claims the statement.

The Senate additionally instructed the PR department to inform all students that the university has zero tolerance for cheating on exams by posting information about the two expelled students on CUSTECH social media platforms.
