In Nasarawa State, 10 bags weighing a combined 100 kg of cannabis sativa were taken by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
The operation happened in response to an information regarding illegal drug sales at an unnamed school in Angwan Woje, Lafia Local Government.
NDLEA operatives swiftly moved in and discovered that the narcotics were cunningly concealed within the ceiling of the school premises.
It was shockingly discovered that the school’s security staff had assisted in the covert narcotics sales.
Paul Odaudu, the State Commander of the NDLEA, told reporters that one suspect in the crime has been taken into custody while confirming the operation.
