A total of 60 women have received fashion design training from Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), located in Akure, Ondo State’s Mega Region 1, South West 4, and Akure. The graduates of the programme also received complimentary sewing machines.

50 indigent students also received full scholarships.

As part of the festivities honouring the birthday of the church’s general overseer, Dr. Daniel Olukoya, the church also gave foodstuffs and toiletries to eight hundred households, according to Pastor Ademola Adeniyi, the regional overseer.

The church offered free medical examinations, diagnosis, counselling, and treatment as part of its free medical outreach programmes to encourage healthy living.

Adeniyi clarified that the church provided widows, women, and young people with free skill development as well as monetary donations as part of its attempts to support the oppressed in society.

He claimed that additional spiritual activities offered by the MFM Ondo State Mega Region 1 Akure had transformed the country’s economy and given attendees salvation as well as spiritual, emotional, and physical health.

One of the beneficiaries of the free fashion design course, Onyinye Onu, a single mother, said she had always wanted to work as a fashion designer but was unable to do so because she lacked the funds to enrol in the course.

The 30-year-old claimed that after taking part in the free eight-month programme, her wish came true.

Onu was one of 60 women who received training in fashion design, free sewing machines, and starting capital to help them launch their own businesses.

Pastor (Mrs.) Olufunmilayo Oluwalonimi, a fashion design expert and one of the program’s instructors, commented, saying that she was really happy with the training and the lives it touched.
