UNIZIK High School triumphs in the 2024 Martin Luther King competition

In the Martin Luther King Jr. Day 2024 competition, students from UNIZIK High School, also known as the Premium High School, came out on top among schools in Anambra State.

This event which was organised by the US Missions in Nigeria through the American Spaces in Nigeria took place on January 18.

The event was for secondary schools in Anambra State, according to a statement made by Dr. Emmanuel C. Ojukwu, the vice chancellor’s media adviser.

The vice chancellor was presented with the award-winning students by Premium High School principal Mrs. Israel Olanike Atinuke, who also expressed her admiration for the pupils, who have long been recognised for their dedication and outstanding work.

She gave her word that the school would continue to uphold its excellent standards.

She expressed her gratitude to Professor Charles Esimone, UNIZIK’s vice chancellor, for his assistance to the institution.

The UNIZIK High School students who took part in the Martin Luther King Jr. Day competition this year were congratulated by the vice chancellor, who also urged them to keep pushing.

“The future belongs to those who work hard to achieve their dreams,” he emphasised.

Prof Esimone reassured the school of more support within the limit of the university’s resources.
