NANS plans nationwide protest over power and fuel crisis

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has called for a nationwide protest in reaction to the ongoing fuel scarcity and electricity crises.

The student body is seeking the dismissal of important officials, notably Mele Kyari, Group Chief Executive Officer of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL), and Honourable Adebayo Adelabu, Minister of Power, whom they blame for worsening the situation.

According to the student body, the protest, which aims to amp up the students’ message and ensure widespread participation, will take place across the country, with designated locations including Abuja Junction, Airport Road, Lagos-Ibadan Motorway, Onitsha-Asaba Head Bridge, and Wuntin Dada.

NANS urges all Nigerians to join the protest and stand together in the fight for a brighter future.
